As we’ve accelerated the sate-myself vibe – through ‘Starbucks Nation’ to ‘Food Network’ celebrity chefs’ opening their own dining venues – I’ve been one of the left-behinds. I can’t become part of these Millenial trends because… I have allergies. Sadly, I have no sense of scent.

I possess a limited supply of taste backed by a bodacious sense of smell. We needed bees to return, to pollinate our lemon tree blossoms and garden edibles, to allow crops to grow.
