ALL proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to Second Harvest, a food bank in Irvine, my home town, which is networked with other food banks across our troubled nation.
During crises, all of us find a way to survive. That’s what humans are programmed to do.
Stories help us cope by design. Storytelling is a specific writer tool – I wrote as catharsis during the extended quarantine to suppress COVID-19 fears. The toughest part, we can all agree, was not knowing the end date of the pandemic and our state’s logical response, as requested by medical and scientific staffs.
Everyone who knows me is aware that I am a social butterfly. Prevented from being among people – especially to be unable to hug, a skill for which I am known – my spirit began to wither, rather than thrive. I felt as if I were back in my six months of active treatment for cancer, yet I was as determined to be a survivor this time as I was then.
I blogged often – and compiled them into this book. It’s likely that you, a pandemic survivor too, will relate to one or all of the tales. Perhaps you have one or two to tell. There are blank pages in the back to enable your story-sharing.
Be a part of the solution, rather than being a problem-child who can’t see their own pandemic sorrows and trials. Purchase the ten-dollar book. All proceeds will be donated to a food bank that helps people survive despite the COVID-culture that surrounds us…https://www.amazon.com/AM-Quarantine-Survivor-PJ-Colando/dp/1734933925/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=I+AM…+a+Quarantine+Survivor&qid=1596481659&s=books&sr=1-1
Enjoy, emote – and pat yourself on the back after your purchase. You not only survived, but you helped countless others to thrive in the upside-down economy which threats us beyond the dreaded virus.
