My husband is the best man alive. I love him completely, thoroughly, and true. We’ve been together since February 16, 1974. He loves me and is very giving, but he is not a hearts, flowers, chocolate, and jewelry guy.
It matters not, for I can buy these myself. I am a career girl, early prone to self-reliance. Low maintenance, he’d say, so perfect for a traveling salesman.
He gives me warmth, reason to smile often, shared values, and credence as a way of life. I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Larry’s.
Our life together is boxed in peace, love, joy, and contentment – and we hope that yours is, too.
I wish you had a “like” button on your blog, like Facebook does. I would just “like” everything you write. I don’t always have a commnet, but I’d like to “like” it, so you know it’s having an impact. 🙂
Thanks, Jessica. wow, WOW! I think I’ll have breakfast at Colandos, my safe and wonderful place. You and Dan are welcome anytime
Well, said – even though I don’t have a man in my life, I have surrounded myself with many women friends who give me so many different things. Sometimes we have to rearrange our lives due to circumstances. I praise God everyday for his leading me to these wonderful friends in my life, including you PJ.
Cheryl
so let’s have dinner at the Tustin Roadhouse tonight 🙂
